The Government announced today (December 24) that the Chief Executive has appointed Mrs Monica Lee-Mller as a member of the Board of the Ocean Park Corporation (OPC) for a period of two years from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2012.
"We are grateful for the strong support of the OPC Board. The dedication and wide-ranging professional expertise of Board members have facilitated the continued development of Ocean Park into a world-class marine-themed attraction," the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs Rita Lau, said.
"We would like to thank the outgoing member, Ms Shirley Chan, for her immense contribution to the development of Ocean Park in the past four years."
The OPC is a statutory body established under the Ocean Park Corporation Ordinance (Chapter 388) to manage Ocean Park as a public recreational and educational park.
