The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (December 15) announced that the Hong Kong Central Library, all public libraries and mobile libraries would close at 5pm on Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year's Eve (December 31), with the exception of North Lamma Public Library, which is always closed on Fridays.
On Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26) and New Year's Day (January 1), all public and mobile libraries and students' study rooms will be closed.
On December 27, normal public holiday opening hours apply at most public libraries, except at those libraries that are closed on Mondays.
