Police arrested a 32-year-old man in Tsuen Wan this evening (December 11). He is believed to be connected to a series of arson cases that occurred in Mong Kok in the early morning of December 6.
In the early morning of December 6, Police received reports on three fire cases at a rear lane connecting Nathan Road and Nullah Road, No. 222 Fa Yuen Street, and the rear lane of Sai Yeung Choi Street North respectively.
It is believed that these three cases were of suspicious origin.
The arrested person will be detained overnight for enquiry. The District Crime Squad of Mong Kok District is now investigating the cases.
