The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
The Legislative Council Public Accounts Committee will hold two public hearings on "Administration of the Direct Subsidy Scheme" (Chap. No.1), "Governance and administration of Direct Subsidy Scheme schools"(Chap. No 2) and "Residential treatment and rehabilitation services for drugs abusers" (Chap. No.10) of the Director of Audit's Report No.55 on December 2 (Thursday) and December 7 (Tuesday) respectively in the Chamber of the Legislative Council Building.
A total of 10 government officials will be invited to appear before the Committee to respond to points raised in the Report and answer questions asked by members of the Committee.
