The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will depart for Guangzhou on the afternoon of November 12. He will lead a delegation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to attend the opening ceremony of the 16th Asian Games, to be held that evening. He will return to Hong Kong after the opening ceremony.
Members of the delegation include the Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing; the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Raymond Young; Head, Asian Games Bid Team of the Home Affairs Bureau, Mr Eddy Chan; the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Mrs Betty Fung; and the Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs, Guangdong, Mr Rex Chang.
