Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Central to facilitate the celebrations of the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month on November 12 to 15, 20 and 21.
(A) Lan Kwai Fong area
1. Road Closure
The following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 2pm on November 12 to 4am on November 15:
- A section of D'Aguilar Street between Wyndham Street and Wellington Street;
- Lan Kwai Fong;
- Wing Wah Lane; and
- Wo On Lane.
2. Traffic Diversions
During the above road closure periods in Lan Kwai Fong area, vehicles on northbound Wyndham Street will not be allowed to turn left to D'Aguilar Street.
(B) SoHo area
1. Road Closure
The following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 11am to midnight on November 20 and 21:
- A section of Elgin Street between Caine Road and Peel Street;
- A section of Staunton Street between Old Bailey Street and Peel Street;
- A section of Graham Street between Hollywood Road and Staunton Street, and
- A section of westbound Lyndhurst Terrace between Hollywood Road and Graham Street.
2. Traffic Diversions
The following traffic diversions will be implemented during the above road closure periods in SoHo area:
- Vehicles on northbound Peel Street will not be allowed to turn right to Elgin Street;
- Vehicles on southbound Peel Street will not be allowed to turn left to Elgin Street;
- Vehicles on Old Bailey Street will not be allowed to turn left to Staunton Street, except for vehicles entering the carpark at 3 Staunton Street;
- Vehicles from the carpark at 3 Staunton Street will not be allowed to turn right to Staunton Street. Affected vehicles must turn left to Staunton Street and Old Bailey Street. The section of Staunton Street between Old Bailey Street and Shelley Street will be converted from one-way westbound to one-way eastbound carriageway;
- Vehicles on Hollywood Road will not be allowed to turn right to Graham Street; and
- Vehicles on Lyndhurst Terrace will not be allowed to enter Graham Street and will be diverted to Hollywood Road.
(C) Prohibited Zone for vehicles with gross weight over 5.5 tonnes
Old Bailey Street will be temporarily designated as a prohibited zone for all vehicles with gross vehicle weight over 5.5 tonnes from 11am on November 20 to 11.59pm on November 21.
Motorists are urged to take heed of traffic signs at the scene and instructions by traffic Police.
