The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) today (November 9) reminded the public that auctions for stalls at the 2011 Lunar New Year (LNY) fairs in Victoria Park (Eastern District) and Kowloon would start next Monday (November 15).
The Victoria Park LNY Fair accommodates 180 wet goods stalls, 284 dry goods stalls, eight thematic stalls and three fast food stalls for bidding.
For the four LNY fairs at Fa Hui Park and Cheung Sha Wan Playground in Sham Shui Po, Morse Park in Wong Tai Sin and Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground in Kwun Tong, there will be a total of 322 wet goods stalls, 240 dry goods stalls and eight fast food stalls.
All auctions for the stalls in both Victoria Park and Kowloon will be held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai. The auction sessions are scheduled from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4.45pm.

Bidders for the LNY fair stalls must be at least 18 years old and ordinarily reside in Hong Kong.
Individuals can bid for more than one stall. A successful bidder must pay the bid price of the stall immediately after the auction or will forfeit his right to the stall, and the stall concerned will be re-auctioned immediately.
