The Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) hears that vampire friends can't wait any more to have fun with the public this coming Halloween!
The annual Halloween Blood Donation Night will be held at the Kwun Tong and Mongkok Blood Donor Centres from 8pm to 10pm on October 31 (Sunday). Vampires will greet donors at the donor centre, serve them a "Halloween special drink" and present them with a Halloween gift after taking their blood. A spooky photographer will take photos for them at the "Halloween standees". Only 100 admission tickets will be distributed from 8pm on October 31 on-site at the two blood donor centres on a first-come-first-served basis.
Moreover, donors giving blood in blood donor centres during the Halloween Blood Donation Week (from October 25 to 31) will be presented with a Halloween gift and enjoy the special Halloween ambience. The BTS will also organise the following blood donation activities at the Stars Atrium, Level 1, Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill, during the Halloween period:
* October 23 to 31, noon to 10pm: explore the Halloween Blood Donation Journey.
* October 25, 1pm to 7pm: enjoy a "Halloween bloody meal" in the "Bloody Caf" at the Stars Atrium after giving blood.
