The Under Secretary for Education, Mr Kenneth Chen, had a sharing session with students of HKSYCIA Wong Tai Shan Memorial College today (June 1) on constitutional development.
Apart from briefing the students on the details of the Package of Proposals for the Methods for Selecting the Chief Executive and for Forming the Legislative Council in 2012, released in April, Mr Chen also responded to questions raised by the students.
About 380 Form 3, 4 and 6 students of the college attended today's event, through which Mr Chen aimed to enhance the students' understanding of Hong KongĄ¯s constitutional development and listen to their views. He said he was encouraged by the students' keen interest in participating in the sharing.
