Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning (May 19) in which a 77-year-old man was killed.
About 10.50am, a motorcycle driven by a 56-year-old man was travelling along Wing Shun Street towards Kwai Hei Street. When approaching outside 28 Wing Shun Street, it reportedly hit the 77-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The 77-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 9.21pm. The driver was also taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South.
