Ronald Chan Ngok-pang resigns from Southern District Council office

Southern District Council member Mr Ronald Chan Ngok-pang has today (May 17) notified the Director of Home Affairs his resignation from office as an elected member in accordance with the District Councils Ordinance. His resignation will take effect on May 19, 2010.
The Director of Home Affairs will declare by notice in the Gazette the existence of a vacancy in the Southern District Council (Pokfulam Constituency).
The Registration and Electoral Office will arrange for a by-election in accordance with established procedures.
