SCMA tours polling stations of LegCo by-election (with photos)

     The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam, and other officials of the Bureau visited various polling stations of the Legislative Council by-election today (May 16) to observe their operations.

     Mr Lam visited the Tang Shiu Kin Victoria Government Secondary School polling station in Wan Chai and the Pok Hong Community Hall polling station in Sha Tin in the morning, and the Holy Trinity Primary School polling station in Kowloon City in the evening. During the visits, Mr Lam chatted with the staff members to understand their work.

     The Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Joshua Law, visited the STFA Tam Pak Yu College polling station in Tuen Mun and the Tai Kok Tsui Catholic Primary School polling station in Tai Kok Tsui this afternoon. Separately, the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Miss Adeline Wong, visited the SKH Tak Tin Lee Shiu Keung Primary School polling station in Kwun Tong and the Fu Shin Community Hall polling station in Tai Po.

     Mr Law and Miss Wong also visited the dedicated polling stations at the Tai Lam Correctional Institution in Tai Lam Chung and the Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution in Stanley respectively. The dedicated polling stations are set up for electors in custody of the Correctional Services Department.
