Hong Kong mourns earthquake victims (with photos/video)

     The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, together with the principal officials and more than a hundred government officers, observed one minute of silence at the Central Government Offices compound this morning (April 21) to mourn the victims of the earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai Province.

     Mr Tsang called on various sectors of the community to express sympathy for the victims in appropriate ways.

     Flags on all government buildings in the Hong Kong SAR are flown at half mast for today's national mourning.

     The Tourism Commission will suspend "A Symphony of Lights" tonight.
