Chief Executive on duty visit to Beijing

     The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will pay a duty visit to Beijing between December 17 and 19.

     Mr Tsang will personally brief State leaders on the latest economic, social and political developments in Hong Kong. He will also call on a number of leaders of the Central People's Government to exchange views on matters affecting Hong Kong.

     The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Norman Chan; the Director of Information Services, Mrs Betty Fung; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Kenneth Mak; Information Co-ordinator, Mr Andy Ho; and the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping.

     During Mr Tsang's absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
