Hongkong Post announced today (May 13) that to optimise resources, the North Point Post Office located at Shops L8, L15-16, LG/F, FitFort, 560 King's Road, North Point, Hong Kong, will close down after business on May 17, 2008 (Saturday). The post office has been consistently operating at a loss and the area is well served by post offices located in close proximity. Hence, there are no longer strong grounds to maintain the North Point Post Office.
Customers who use the North Point Post Office are advised to use the alternative post offices listed below:-

Arrangements have been made for existing Post Office Box holders to take up a new box at any other post offices where vacant boxes are available, or to terminate the tenancy. Local Standing Order Service customers will collect their orders at the alternative post office of their preference.
