Mobile Library 1, 4 and 9 services to be suspended

    Services provided by Mobile Libraries 1, 4 and 9 would be suspended at different periods in April and May for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (April 10).

    Service points covered by Mobile Library 1 to be affected from April 23 to 26 are Shek Lei Estate and Kwai Shing West Estate in Kwai Chung; Cheung on Estate in Tsing Yi, and Sham Tseng in Tsuen Wan. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 1, please call 2414 3157.

    Service points of Mobile Library 9 to be affected from April 28 to May 3 are Kai Yip Estate in Kowloon Bay; Tsui Ping (South) Estate in Kwun Tong; Tin Wan Estate in Aberdeen; Siu Sai Wan Estate; Tai Hong Estate in Lei King Wan, and Shing Man Lane in Heng Fa Chuen. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 9, please call 2505 4690.

    Service points served by Mobile Library 4 to be affected from April 30 to May 14 are Fu Tung Estate, Pui O, Shui Hau, Tong Fuk, Discovery Bay and Man Tung Road Park on Lantau Island. For enquiries about the services of Mobile Library 4, please call 2984 9417.

    People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods of the mobile libraries. They may also renew library materials by telephone at 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
