No.3 Alarm Fire in Mong Kok Roundup

    A vacant unit measuring about 15 x 15 metres on the first floor of a building at 123-125 Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok, was severely damaged in a No. 3 alarm fire yesterday (March 8).

    The fire broke out at 11.07 pm last night and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 11.40 pm. It was put out at 1.18 am today (March 9).  Firemen used five jets and four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

    Two firemen, who were injured in the fire, were sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical treatment.

    The cause of the fire was confirmed to be of suspicion and the case has been transferred to the Police for follow up investigations.
