Hong Kong Flower Show tickets now on sale (with photo)

    Admission tickets to the Hong Kong Flower Show 2008 are now on sale until March 24 at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD)'s District Leisure Services Offices, and leisure venues with Leisure Link services.

    Featuring Gerbera as this year's theme flower with the theme "Vibrant Blossoms for Beijing Olympics", the flower show will take place from March 14 to 24 in Victoria Park, from 9am to 9pm daily.

    Admission for adults is $14. Children aged between four and 14, students, senior citizens aged 60 or above and persons with a disability pay half price. Senior citizens and persons with a disability will have free admission on weekdays (except public holidays) while adults in a group of 30 or more admitted at the same time will pay half price on weekdays (except public holidays).

    The Leisure Link outlets are available at:
* District Leisure Services Offices;
* sports centres;
* tennis courts;
* squash courts;
* holiday camps; and
* water sports centres.

    Tickets will also be sold at the entrance to the showground at Victoria Park throughout the show period.

    This year's event will showcase exotic flowers, landscape and floral art displays presented by over 180 participating organisations from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas. More than 350,000 flowers will be on display.

    Fringe activities including music and dance performances, cooking demonstrations, green talks, floral art demonstrations and fun games will also be organised for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages.
