In view of the persistent high demand for type B and type O blood and drop in blood donations due to the cold weather lately, the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) wishes to appeal to those who are type B or O blood group to make a donation as soon as possible. In addition to the regular daily requirement of 800 donations, we need an extra of 50 donors, each for type B and O blood group, to donate in the next few days to ensure adequate supply.

Every minutes count in saving lives. Many patients are waiting for those who are blood type B or type O to act as soon as possible!
