New District Officer for Southern District (with photo)

Mr Alex Wong will assume the post of Southern District Officer on Monday (December 24).
Mr Wong joined the Government in 1978. He served in the Trade Officer Grade for 24 years before joining the Administrative Service in 2002. Mr Wong has served in various branches and bureaus, including the former Finance Branch, the former Civil Service Branch, the former Economic Services Branch, the former Economic Development and Labour Bureau, and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington.
His last posting was Deputy Director-General, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs, Washington.
