Queen Elizabeth Stadium to be temporarily closed for major renovation

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (December 20) that the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai will be temporarily closed from January 1, 2008, for major improvement works. The stadium will be re-opened in July 2008.
During the renovation period, all the facilities at the venue including the arena, URBTIX box office, Leisure Link booking office, badminton courts, table tennis area and squash courts will be closed.
