The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Frederick Ma, will leave Hong Kong tomorrow (December 12) to lead a Hong Kong business delegation, comprising some 70 representatives from the business sector and organised by the Trade Development Council, for a study tour to Ganzhou.
The tour is an effort by the HKSAR Government to assist the Hong Kong processing trade enterprises in Guangdong to relocate their operations. While in Ganzhou, the delegation will attend the "Hong Kong-Ganzhou roundtable discussion" with Jiangxi and Ganzhou officials. The delegation will also visit the local export processing zone and enterprises to study the supporting facilities there.
Mr Ma will return to Hong Kong on Friday (December 14).
