MPFA welcomes fee reduction by ING

The following is issued on behalf of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority:
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) today (December 10) welcomed the initiative made by ING Pension Trust Limited to reduce the management fees of its MPF Capital Preservation Portfolio under the ING MPF Master Trust Basic and Comprehensive Schemes to benefit its scheme members. The MPFA looks forward to MPF trustees following suit to lower fees of other types of MPF funds so that more scheme members can benefit.
