2007 Village Representative Elections: Overall turnout rate

The eighth polling day of 2007 Village Representative Elections ended at 7pm today (January 28).
A total of 78 candidates from 23 villages contested for 39 seats, including 25 Indigenous Inhabitants Representatives (IIR) and 14 Resident Representatives (RR), in the IIR and RR Elections.
A total of 6,651 out of the 9,232 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 72.04 per cent.
