No.3 Alarm Fire in Aberdeen Roundup

    A 30 metre x 50 metre single storey tin-sheeted structure using as a marine workshop on Shum Wan Road in Aberdeen was severely damaged during a No.3 fire yesterday evening (January 10).

     The fire broke out at 5.19 pm yesterday and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 6.02 pm.  It was put out at 12.44 am today (January 11).  Firemen used ten jets and ten breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

     No casualty was reported and no evacuation was required. No suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
