No. 3 alarm fire in Kwai Chung roundup

    An electroplating factory of about 30mx60m in a 25-storey industrial building at Kwai Chung was damaged in a No. 3 alarm fire this (December 25) morning.

     The fire broke out at Unit A, 12/F, Shui Wing Industrial Building, 12-22 Tai Yuen Street at 10.01am.

     The fire was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 10.21am.
     
     Firemen mobilised two breathing apparatus teams and used four jets to fight the blaze which was put out at 11.28am.

     A total of 15 persons were led to place of safety. No casualty was reported.

     Initial reports revealed that the cause of the fire was not suspicious.
