Police today (June 30) appealed to the members of the public for information on a body found on Lantau Island on June 19.
About 12.35pm on June 19, Police received report that a body was floating in the sea off Po Chu Tam, Tai O, Lantau Island. It was later confirmed the body was that of a man. He was wearing a beige long-sleeved shirt and a pair of grey socks when discovered.
Initial enquiries did not indicate any suspicious circumstances.
Anyone who may have seen the body in the water or who may have seen the man earlier that dayto contact the investigating officers of Miscellaneous Sub-unit of Lantau North Division at 2988 2330.
