Additional performance of "Heroes" by Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe
************************************************************

An additional performance of the monumental production "Heroes" will be held on July 9 at 11am at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in response to an overwhelming demand.

Produced by the renowned Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe, "Heroes" will open the "International Arts Carnival" (IAC) presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

"Heroes" is a showcase of Chinese heroic stars from different eras -- the legendary Mulan, the warriors and horses of Emperor Qin, the lady generals of the loyal Yang family, Shaolin kung fu masters and many more. Comprising feats that pose a challenge to human skills and physical limits, it brings audiences a fresh and original experience.

The show has successfully amalgamated modern stage techniques with traditional acrobatic feats, including teeter board, pyramid of chairs, cycling acts, Chinese mast, trapeze acts and other stunts. It offers a feast for the eyes with scenes embellished by elegant dance, mesmerising lighting, beautiful music and colourful costumes, elevating Chinese acrobatics to a whole new level.

"Heroes" will also be performed at 8pm on July 7 and 8; and at 3pm on July 8 and 9 at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena. Tickets are limited.

Tickets priced at $100, $160, $220 and $280 are available at URBTIX outlets. Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Package booking discounts are up to 15% for full-price tickets.

Programme guides are available at URBTIX outlets or at the website, www.hkiac.gov.hk.
