At the invitation of the Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), the Legislative Council Panel on Information Technology and Broadcasting today (April 25) visited TVB City to better understand the latest development in migrating to Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting.
During the visit, Members visited the Master Control Room, Graphic Department, Post Production Department, Wardrobe, Drama Studios and News & Information Services Division. Members met with TVB Assistant Managing Director George C Chan, General Manager Stephen C W Chan and General Manager Cheong Shin-keong and were briefed on the latest development of the Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting Project and the state-of-the-art technology and facilities. Members also visited the outdoor shooting location including Old China City, Shanghai Street and Satellite Anennae Farm.
The visiting Members include Panel Chairman Sin Chung-kai, Panel Members Mr Howard Young, Mr Fred Li Wah-ming, Ms Emily Lau Wai-hing and Mr Timothy Fok Tsun-ting. Non-Panel Members include Ir Dr Raymond Ho Chung-tai, Mr Wong Kwok-hing, and Mr Patrick Lau Sau-shing.
