To meet hospitals¡¯ recent increase in demand for type A and type O blood, the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) has invited donors who are of blood type A or type O, aged 16-65, healthy and weighing more than 41kgs to give blood.
To promote the ¡°Let¡¯s Paint Colour of Life Let¡¯s Give Blood¡± activity, donors giving blood from now to April 17, 2006, will be presented with a ¡°Let¡¯s Paint Colour of Life¡± hand towel (see photo attached) as a souvenir while stock lasts.
During the Easter holidays (April 14 to 17), some blood donor centres will provide service as detailed below:-
Causeway Bay and Mongkok Donor Centres: 1pm to 8pm.
Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan Donor Centres: 1pm to 7pm.
Remark : Headquarters Donor Centre at King¡¯s Park Rise will open for service from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday (April 15).
