The five defendants - Fine Projects Limited, Tigerlily Fast Food Shop Limited, Skynews Development Limited, Chan Cynthia Bautista trading as Kaycee Salon and Gen. Merchandise, and Vibgyor Gems (HK) Limited - did not appear at today's hearing. In their absence, the Adjudicator ordered them to pay the MPFA the sums of $33,730.65, $31,682.00, $6,615.39, $3,228.75 and $2,620.00, being mandatory contribution in arrears and surcharges payable.

The amounts awarded will be reimbursed to the employees' MPF accounts as soon as they are received by the MPFA. The court further awarded payments of $160, $170, $250, $150 and $110 as the costs in respect of the claims.
