Government's response to media enquiries on "Belt and Road" Scholarship

In response to media enquiries on whether the Government would submit its injection proposal for establishing the "Belt and Road" Scholarship to the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council for deliberation in this legislative session, a Government spokesman today (June 27) gave the following reply:
"Having considered that there are still many items relating to people's livelihood to be processed by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council, the Government has decided to submit its injection proposal for establishing the 'Belt and Road' Scholarship to the next term of the Finance Committee for its deliberation."
