Victor Ma and Mandy Yim to continue Dance "IN" Possible series
********************************************************

Victor Ma and Mandy Yim, the co-founders of local dance group Y-Space, will choreograph and perform in the fifth episode of the Dance "IN" Possible series entitled "101" in April.

101 is the sum of Ma and Yim's ages. The choreographers will collaborate with a group of participants from various backgrounds who have influenced the duo to offer a retrospective of their dance career, thus offering the possibility of 101 kinds of dance.

Since 1999, the Dance "IN" Possible series has evolved into Ma and Yim's self-reflection on dance while simultaneously exploring different eras. Their previous productions include Dance "IN" Possible I (1999), Dance "IN" Possible II - "Dark Corner" (2000), Dance "IN" Possible III - "This is a Dance Performance!?" (2000) and Dance "IN" Possible IV - "Victor Ma's Dance Exhibition I" (2009).

Founded in 1995, Y-Space aims to explore the infinite possibilities of performing arts through dance and search for new dance languages and artistic direction.

Dance "IN" Possible V - "101" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be staged at 8pm on April 23 (Saturday) and at 5pm on April 24 (Sunday) at the Studio Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. A talk will be held after the Saturday performance. Tickets priced at $180 and $220 are now available at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). For telephone credit card bookings, please call 2111 5999.
