Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning (December 28) in which a 26-year-old man died.
At about 8:45am, a motorcycle driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan while a private car driven by a 21-year-old woman was travelling along Route Twisk towards Shek Kong. When approaching Chuen Lung, the motorcycle reportedly collided with the private car.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the 26-year-old male motorcycle passenger was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 9:22am.
The 34-year-old motorcyclist sustained head injuries and was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in unconscious state. The 21-year-old private car driver sustained neck injuries and was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in conscious state.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
