Man in connection with offences in United Kingdom arrested

Upon a formal extradition request from the British Police, Hong Kong Police last night (September 25) arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with two cases of sexual offences in United Kingdom.
The man is now being detained in custody and will appear at Eastern Magistrates﷿ Courts today (September 26).
Hong Kong Police will continue to take strong enforcement action against overseas fugitives fleeing to Hong Kong.
