Russian arts group Hand Made Theatre will visit Hong Kong in April with a creative and cheerful production entitled "Time for Fun". Set to a background of lively and joyful music, audiences will be taken on a journey of the imagination.
With hands as their only performance tools, the performers present amazing visual creations including trains, boats, ticking clocks and animals. Seemingly appearing from nowhere, items float and dance in the air, while the production also tells short stories about seasonal change, the birth of music and "Swan Lake". Details are as follows:

Founded in 2007 in St Petersburg, Russia, the Hand Made Theatre aims to depict ordinary things through a new genre of performing arts. The group received an official invitation to perform at the Carnival of Venice in Italy in 2010 and debuted in the UK at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2012. The group has also toured Finland, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain, Japan and Korea to critical acclaim.
"Time for Fun" is one of the programmes in the "Miracle Fun" Series presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Tickets are now available at URBTIX. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis). A maximum discount of 20 per cent is offered for the "Miracle Fun" Series and group booking packages. Please refer to the brochure of the Series for details.
The arts group will hold three workshops to tie in with the performances. The workshops will be conducted in Russian with English and Cantonese interpretation. Participants will learn some of the skills needed for creating stories that can be performed using their hands. Workshop details are as follows:
