The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) is organising an exhibition on slope safety and long-term strategy for cavern development. Through display panels, video shows, game booths, a display model and an information kiosk, the exhibition will provide information on landslip warnings, precautionary measures and slope maintenance to convey the importance of slope safety. There will also be exhibits to introduce how cavern development assists the sustainable development of Hong Kong.
The exhibition will be held from 11am to 8.30pm from January 23 to 26 on the G/F of Domain Mall, Yau Tong. A geotechnical engineer from the CEDD will meet the public from 11am to 1pm on January 24 to answer questions on slope safety and maintenance.
