Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Tuen Mun Town Hall (TMTH) Fun Day will be held from 2pm to 5.30pm on November 23 (Sunday) at TMTH Cultural Square. A variety of programmes, including rope skipping, street dances, ethnic dances and acrobatic performances will be staged, offering delightful family entertainment for visitors. Admission is free.
The Fun Day will begin with a concert by Tin Shui Wai Symphonic Winds followed by by the Tuen Mun Children Choir. Students from Stewards Ma Kam Ming Charitable Foundation Ma Ko Pan Memorial College will perform rope skipping and folk song singing with guitar. Also not to be missed are acrobatic performances by the Church of Christ in China Tam Lee Lai Fun Memorial Secondary School, St James Settlement Parkside Residence and Parkside Integrated Service Team.
Visitors can also watch various dance shows including ethnic dances by Yuen Long Town Hall; break dance and hip hop jazz dance by Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association Tuen Mun Integrated Social Service Centre; street dance by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Tuen Mun Integrated Services Centre and Western dance by Tuen Mun Arts Promotion Association. Visitors will also be able to join a sharing session conducted by the TMTH venue partner, Spring-Time Experimental Theatre, about their production "It's a Mad Mad Mad World Too! The Musical".
In addition there will be family activities and game booths where visitors can enjoy hand painting and handicraft DIY workshops run by ethnic groups as well as inflatable games, interactive play zones and performances by roving artists. Members of the public are invited to participate with family and friends.
