Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate two public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island this Sunday (July 13).
One procession will depart Harbour Road Garden for Tamar Park. The following roads will be intermittently closed from 10am onwards until the crowd is dispersed:
- Westbound Harbour Road;
- Fleming Road flyover;
- Westbound Hennessy Road;
- Eastbound Queensway; and
- Southbound Rodney Street.
Another procession will depart Paterson Street Pedestrian Precinct for Police Headquarters. The following roads will be intermittently closed from 2.45pm onwards until the crowd is dispersed:
- Westbound Hennessy Road;
- Northbound Fenwick Street;
- Westbound Lockhart Road; and
- Northbound Arsenal Street.
Vehicles may not be permitted to leave or enter car parks along the procession routes during the road closure period.
