The Long Term Housing Strategy (LTHS) public consultation will end next Monday (December 2). The LTHS Steering Committee today (November 27) reminded the public to give their views before then.
On September 3 the LTHS Steering Committee published a consultation document under the theme "Building Consensus Building Homes" on the review of the LTHS, and launched a three-month public consultation. The consultation document covers a wide range of housing issues and outlines strategies to achieve the goal of providing adequate and affordable housing to each Hong Kong family.
"The Steering Committee is keen to hear from the public their views on the issues and recommendations set out in the consultation document," a spokesman for the LTHS Steering Committee said.
The consultation document can be obtained from the Home Affairs Department's Public Enquiry Service Centres and is available at the Transport and Housing Bureau website (www.thb.gov.hk).
