The Immigration Department announced today (June 28) that from July 1, the visa-free period for nationals of Croatia to visit the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will be extended from 14 to 90 days.
"Hong Kong adopts a liberal visa policy. At present, nationals of about 170 countries and territories enjoy visa-free access to the HKSAR for visits ranging from seven to 180 days. The visa policy is subject to constant review and changes will be introduced if circumstances so warrant. The extension of the visa-free visit period for nationals of Croatia will enhance the trade, business, investment and tourism ties between Hong Kong and Croatia," an Immigration Department spokesman said.
At present, HKSAR passport holders may visit Croatia visa-free for a stay of up to 90 days.
