HK, Switzerland tax treaty in force

An agreement between Hong Kong and Switzerland for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income has entered into force, a government spokesman said today (November 7).
The agreement was signed in October last year, and came into force on October 15 after completion of ratification procedures on both sides. In Hong Kong it will have effect in any year of assessment beginning on or after April 1, 2013.
