OFCA receives written notification from Digital Broadcasting Corporation on cessation of operation

In response to media enquiries on cessation of operation by Digital Broadcasting Corporation Hong Kong Limited (DBC), a spokesman for the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau gives the following response:
"The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) received a written notification this afternoon (October 10) from the DBC on matters relating to its cessation of operation as from 8 pm tonight.
OFCA has written to seek more details from the DBC and would handle the matter in accordance with the licence conditions and the Telecommunications Ordinance.蒅
