Appeal for information on man seriously injured in Tin Shui Wai traffic accident (with photo)

     Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a man who was seriously injured in a traffic accident occurred in Tin Shui Wai this morning (February 1).

     About 3.55am, Police received a report that a man was found lying on the carriageway of Tin Ying Road towards Lau Fau Shan. The man was conscious but could not speak.

     The man, who might have been knocked down by a vehicle, sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment. He is now admitted in serious condition.

     Aged about 20, the man stands about 1.7 metres, was of medium build and with short black hair. He was wearing a black coat, a pair of black trousers and dark brown sport shoes, and was carrying a brown bag. No identity document was found in his possession.

     Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.  

     Police urge relatives of the man or anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has any information to offer to contact the investigating officers at 3661 3852 or the duty officers of Tin Shui Wai Police Station at 3661 4825.
