Operation to promote road safety in New Territories South

Police Traffic New Territories South (NTS) yesterday (October 27) concluded a road safety operation codenamed 䩕Treelife蒅 aiming to remind pedestrians and drivers of the importance of road safety through enforcement actions.
Launched in early October, the operation included enforcement by officers from Traffic NTS and various districts to promote 䩕public transport safety蒅, 䩕cycling safety蒅 and 䩕pedestrian safety蒅 respectively. During the operation, 377 summonses, 418 fixed penalty tickets and 138 verbal warnings were issued to road users.
Police will continue to take various enforcement actions to improve road safety.
