Police today (September 10) appealed for information on a traffic accident in Sau Mau Ping on Monday (September 5) in which a 55-year-old woman was killed.
About 9.55am on that day, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 28-year-old man was travelling along eastbound Ting On Street. When approaching near 3 - 19 Ting On Street, the LGV reportedly knocked down the 55-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state. She was certified dead in the hospital at 12.54pm on Thursday (September 8).
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are under way.
