The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is inviting interested parties to submit Expression of Interest (EoI) in the operation of catering outlets and book/gift shops in the museums managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). The invitation of EoI was gazetted today (September 2). The ideas and suggestions collected by this invitation may be used by the Government in preparing future tendering arrangements for the operation of the aforementioned business operations.
Interested parties should submit their EoI by email to mbdm1@lcsd.gov.hk or by hand/post to Rm 112, 1/F, Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin, Hong Kong (care of Marketing and Business Development Manager 1 of LCSD), before 5.30pm on November 11 this year.
It should be noted that this invitation is not a pre-qualification exercise to shortlist any parties for any subsequent tender exercise. Should the Government decide to contract out the operation of the catering outlets and book/gift shops in museums, a tender exercise would be arranged.
