Oil spill at Hung Shing Yeh Beach has dissipated

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (August 25) that no more signs of an oil spill had been found in the water off Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District. However, due to a suspected red tide sighting, the red flag remains hoisted at the beach. Beach-goers are advised not to swim there until further notice.
