The Lands Department today (August 25) announced that the tender for a site at Oil Street, North Point, Inland Lot No. 8920, has been awarded to Ocean Century Investments Limited on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $6,267.2 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Government spokesman said.
The other tenderers in alphabetical order were:
(1) Ace Dragon Development Limited
(2) Crown World Investment Limited
(3) Fortune Precision Limited
(4) Fortune Top Development Limited
(5) Senworld Investment Limited
Inland Lot No. 8920 has a site area of about 7,887 square metres and is designated for hotel or non-industrial (excluding godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 42,200 square metres, of which the total gross floor area to be used for hotel purposes together with any ancillary accommodation shall not be less than 30,000 square metres. The maximum gross floor area is 70,200 square metres.
