Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 24) that suspected red tide was sighted at Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District. Meanwhile, the beach remains closed with the red flag hoisted following an oil spill earlier on.
Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach until further notice.
